iPad Mini (A20 Pro) – now with an OLED display
About the iPad Mini (A20 Pro) – now with an OLED display
The iPad mini isn't the entry-level iPad. It takes the capable iPad Air and shrinks it down to a size that's extremely portable while still being compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro.
The new model sports an A20 processor, the same as the latest iPhone 18 Pro-series and the new iPhone Duo. The OLED display brings even more vivid colours to the display and can be paired with a nano-texture finish.
There's improved water-resistance and the Centre Stage camera now sits along the side edge which positions it much better for FaceTime calls.

Our thoughts
The iPad mini remains a favourite of mine, ever since it's new form factor was revealed back in 2022. It's surprisingly capable and the updates, with OLED display and the A20 processor make it a compelling upgrade.
The Starlight finish has been my favourite so happy to see it's still available although we're down to just black and white now.
The iPad mini is genuinely great to carry around with very little weight and it packs a punch by being great for casual use but it's possible to push it's capabilities by downloading killer apps like Procreate.
