Apple's AirPods Pro 2 now come with a USB C MagSafe charging case. You still get 2x more Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode and their new Adaptive Audio feature that intelligently tailors noise depending on your environment.
There's Spatial Audio too which adapts the sound depending on where you're facing relative to the device you're listening too.
The MagSafe case is great with it's wireless and USB C charging options but you can also use the charging puck for you Apple Watch and any Qi-certified charger to replenish the battery. The case features a lanyard slot and for the first time it comes with a built in speaker making the Find My feature even better for when you can't find your headphones.
Inside, there a new H-series chip in the H2 which drives the whole experience and works hand-in-hand with the custom internals to deliver vivid sound. The stems of the AirPods Pros now feature volume controls which you can access by swiping up and down, leaving the pinch gestures free for other functions.
As well as Spatial Audio, dynamic head tracking offers three‑dimensional audio to Group FaceTime calls. Apple say this will make it feel like you’re in the same room as your friends and family.
The battery gives you 6 hours of listening time with ANC enabled and a total of 30 hours thanks to the charging case. Like the headphones, the case is also IP54 dust, sweat and water resistant making them safe to use in a range of environments and easier to clean.

Our thoughts
I've been a long term AirPods user and love how they work in the Apple ecosystem. These new AirPods Pro take noise cancellation to the next level and introduce a third mode based on the technology.
Apple's hardware and software integration is shown off so well given how all AirPods can easily switch between devices and with the Perfect Fit feature they can determine if you might need a different tip for the AirPods to improve the ANC and audio quality.
The original AirPods design looks more balanced, in my opinion, but the shorter stem and fit of the 3rd generation AirPods and the AirPods Pro models definitely fit better.
