About the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé
The second-generation AMG GT has 585hp (430kW) of power and 800Nm of torque that will get you to 60mph in just 3.2 seconds. It's the top model from the Mercedes-AMG it now features an optional 2+2 configuration.
You get active aero at the front and rear, although you can have a permanent rear spoiler fitted as part of a package.
Mercedes may rapidly be moving towards an EV future but they're going all in with their AMG 4.0 litre V8 in both the GT 55 and GT 63 models. The two V8 models are equipped as standard with the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all‑wheel drive. This gives you fully variable torque distribution on the front and rear axle for the right traction and stability under all conditions.

Our thoughts
While I'm a huge fan of the more boxy Mercedes look from the 60-80s, this is one of the best looking cars they've ever made. It's a nice evolution from the current GT which looks more like a grown up CLA compared to this new model.
The overall look is a little softer than before but to me that makes it all look more premium. It's a beautiful car and one that I'll be adding to my bucket list.
While it doesn't feature the latest dash from Mercedes, I would argue it's the right decision. You don't want or need a hyper-screen when you're behind the wheel of such a powerful car.
