About the Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon
Omega's Swiss Made watch honours their legacy of space exploration. The Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon features a 44.25 mm case made from in polished black ceramic. The bezel is also made from polished black ceramic and has a Liquidmetal tachymeter scale.
The face is finished with a sapphire crystal front on top of the ceramic dial. For nighttime readability, the hour marks are all blackened and filled with black Super-LumiNova that emits a green glow and the second hand is finished with red varnish for contrast. If that's not to your liking there are actually 8 different styles to choose from.
On the back, you can peer through and see the mechanism that has a special “black edition” finish.
