About the TAG Heuer Rowing Blazers x Bamford Yacht Timer Carrera
This Carrera from TAG Heuer is inspired by timepieces that were worn by competitive sailors at important regattas in the 1960s and 1970s. The 42mm "Yacht-Timer" Carrera was born from a special collaboration between Rowing Blazers, TAG Heuer, Bamford Watch Department and Eric Wind of Wind Vintage.
Limited to just 99 units, this watch features a glass back and glow in the dark dials and hands. The glass back exposes the automatic movement and features 'Rowing Blazers' printed across the glass screen.
The packaging for the watch is inspired by both vintage TAG Heuer stopwatches and the red boxes in which Henley Royal Regatta medals come. It's made from recycled ocean plastic.
The watch comes with both a bracelet and a nylon strap. The nylon strap is made to the same pattern as the strap of the vintage TAG Heuer Yacht-Timer that served as inspiration for this watch.
